Job description
Mechanic / AssemblerThis person plays a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of industrial electric motors and related equipment. This position involves disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of these components, with a strong focus on troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues. The successful candidate will perform rebuilds and ensure all work adheres to stringent quality and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, inspect, and reassemble equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Repair and rebuild industrial components.Read and interpret technical documentation.Perform mechanical assembly and fitting.Support electrical work and basic wiring tasks.Essential SkillsProven mechanical assembly experience, ideally on motors or related equipment.Knowledge of basic electrical codes including pulling wire, components, switches, high voltage, and control centers.Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment such as motors and pumps.Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, plans, and operating manuals.Capability to fit fluid lines and pipes.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude.Experience with hand and power tools.Understanding of electrical wiring and components.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Knowledge of electronics and inspection techniques.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are valued.
