Manufacturing Assembly Technician IOur client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Assembly Technician Level I to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a team player, and have a passion for quality workmanship which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Peachtree Corners, GA Shift: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm (Mon - Fri); 2nd shift 3pm - 11:45pm Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.20/hrWhat's the Job?Assemble a variety of products according to standard work instructions and printsOperate and set up (as needed), production equipment/fixturesBecome proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting requirements for workmanship, safety and productivityPerform preparation work such as line clearance and changeoverPerform inspection of own and other's work. Perform simple repairs on own or other's work.What's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred3-5 years previous mechanical assembly experience preferred.Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, supervisors, or engineers.Ability to add and subtract multi-digit numbers (including decimals); to multiply and divide; to find averages, percentages and ranges. Ability to determine the minimum, maximum and nominal value when provided with a specification and a tolerance. Ability to perform basic math on a calculator.Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to report quality issues.
