Racing Equipment Assembly TechnicianAFCO Performance Group is seeking a Racing Equipment Assembly Technician to join our team in Boonville, Indiana. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, pays close attention to detail, takes pride in quality work, and likes being part of a team focused on hitting daily and weekly goals.As a Racing Equipment Assembly Technician, you'll help build high-quality racing equipment used by racers and teams across the country.Daily responsibilities may include:Reviewing detailed work instructions and specifications for each buildInspecting components to ensure they meet general quality requirementsFollowing video, electronic, and written assembly instructionsAssembling racing tire pressure gauges, race car gauge dash panels, and other racing equipmentUsing hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, heat guns, hand drills, and similar toolsInspecting finished products for quality and accuracyMoving between different work areas within the company as production needs changeWorking with team members to meet or exceed daily and weekly production goalsMost tasks do not require repetitive heavy lifting; however, team members must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.We're looking for someone who brings:Strong attention to detail and commitment to product qualityA positive, team-oriented attitudeAbility to follow simple to more complex instructionsPhysical dexterity, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordinationAbility to frequently pinch, grasp, and perform fine manipulation with fingersAbility to stand for extended periods of timeGood verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervisionProfessionalism and sound decision-making skillsWillingness to learn and work in different areas as neededHigh school diploma or GEDConsistent and reliable attendance in accordance with AFCO's attendance policyAbility to successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to employmentSchedule:This position currently works a four-day workweek: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:40 PM.
