Production GeneralistDallas Airfoil Repair Operations in Arlington, TX is seeking a Production Generalist to support our aero-engine and Industrial Gas Turbine airfoil refurbishment operations. We offer a dynamic work environment and are looking for motivated individuals who embrace continuous improvement and new ideas. This position is available on first shift (5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.).What You Will Do:Perform surface preparation and repair tasks on turbine airfoil components, including grit blasting, masking, blending, and other routine operations.Support the development and training of team members.Carry out assigned duties to enhance individual capability and team performance.Perform additional tasks as needed to support facility operations.Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.Maintain positive working relationships across the team.Complete all work with a strong focus on safety.Qualifications You Must Have:HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experienceQualifications We Prefer:Six months of experience in a manufacturing environmentThree months of aerospace industry experienceThree months of experience with Microsoft OfficeThree months of experience using SAPWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, vision benefitsLife, short term disability, long term disability benefitsPaid time off including vacation, sick leave, holidays401-K with company matchOther innovative benefits including deals and discountsPratt & Whitney Arlington, TX is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
