Asset Protection AgentFull Time & Part Time Salary Range: $19.00 - $24.00 (USD) HourlyMUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK READ AND WRITE ENGLISHWork Location – 100 Michael Angelo Way, Suite 300, Austin, Texas 78728Reporting Manager – Asset Protection Manager / Security Guard SupervisorOur team is looking for a Security Guard who will be responsible for our premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance, and permitting entry. We are looking for someone who is alert, diligent, and process-oriented, and most importantly, someone who has the safety of our employees on the top of their minds at all times! Keeping our building and people safe is vital to our operations and we need someone who is equally as passionate about safety and security as we are.JOB RESPONSABILITIESMaintain the general safety and security of the workplacePerform all duties related to assigned post including but not limited to checking employee badges, using wand on those leaving secured areas and permitting entry to guestsSecure premises and personnel by patrolling property and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access pointsInitiate and perform companywide evacuation and sheltering drills as per assigned post dutiesUnderstand emergency procedures and assist when needed, including sounding alarmsPromote awareness of company policies, procedures, and directivesConfront violators of policy and procedures in a professional manner to redirect behaviorPrevent loss and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstancesMonitor public areas for potential issues and to identify potential thieves or vandalsMonitor surveillance equipment, report irregularities, and maintain detailed documentationReview inventory, stock, and security cameras/footage to investigate suspected issuesCoordinate with logistics team to ensure inventory control procedures are followed and all asset inventory is documentedAlways demonstrate integrity while responding to asset protection and operational concernsSubmit new and innovative ideas to enhance job functions and company best practicesComply with company policies and procedures.All other duties as assigned by Asset Protection Manager.SKILLS OR EXPERIENCEPossess integrity and able maintain confidential informationStrong professional and interpersonal skillsAbility to respond well to emergency situationsRemain calm when dealing with safety issues or individuals demonstrating aggressive behaviorSuperior observational skills with ability to recognize unsafe working environmentsAttention to detail and follow through are essentialWillingness to attend meeting and trainings to improve skillsAbility to work a flexible scheduleAn ambassador of our Core Value: Teamwork, Honesty, Commitment, Passion and Positive AttitudePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStanding for prolonged periods of time.Moving about frequently to accomplish tasks or moving from one workplace to another.Adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions.Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.ABOUT SHOP LCWe are an electronic retailer of jewelry and lifestyle products headquartered in Austin, Texas with a passionate team of approximately 5 Employees.
