Asset Protection SpecialistThe Hermès Beverly Hills Boutique opened in 1972 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as a part of the Western Region. This position will report to the Asset Protection Manager and will primarily work within the Beverly Hills Team and the Beverly Hills Boutique location.The Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for the enforcement and protection of all company interests and assets. Company assets are defined as merchandise, money, technical equipment, supplies, fixtures, store dwellings (owned or leased), our company personnel and our customers. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.About the Role:Post coverage – stock securityAssociate compliance and education (AP Awareness)Violation and Incident reportingConducting of Audits / maintaining of proper recordsInvestigation and follow-upManaging outsourced guardsConduct routine inspections of the facility to maintain physical security and protection of assetsComplete required audits and inspections and provide accurate documentation of resultsConduct safety inspections and communicate hazards to local managementEnsure physical security by controlling access of associates and visitors. Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for the enforcement of all Policy and Procedure.Supervisory Responsibility: NOBudget Responsibility: NODecision Making Responsibility: NOAbout You:1-3 years of loss prevention/retail experienceHigh School diploma or equivalent8 hr. Pre Assignment and 16 hr. OTJ certificates / Security License (mandatory in NYC only)Strong written and verbal communication skillsProblem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle merchandise, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth aboveAbility to operate all equipment necessary to perform the jobAdaptabilityCredibility and trustGuidance ServiceResults DrivenRegular in-person work at a Company-designated work location is an essential function of this positionThe hourly range for this position is $25.50-$27.00.
