Assistant Activity Director

Do you have a passion for creating engaging and meaningful activities for seniors? Pomeroy Living is seeking a full-time Assistant Activity Director to join our vibrant activities team.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Activity Director in planning, implementing, and leading a variety of recreational and social activities for residents.
* Ensure activities are tailored to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of each resident.
* Assist residents in participating in activities and outings.
* Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
* Provide support to the Activity Director as needed.
Qualifications:
* Valid CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or ADC (Certified Activity Director) certification required.
* Two years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Passionate about working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life.

Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
