Job description

Branch Manager AssistantAssist the Branch Manager in the daily operation of staff. Prepare work schedule, assist with the bank balancing, staff meeting, customer care and concerns. Assist in the delivery of quality customer service through personal contact with customers and prospects, and adherence to approved quality standards. Evaluate new and existing customer relationships and recommend bank products and services to support their financial success. Accountable for the achievement of monthly new account production as assigned by upper management. Work closely with the Branch Manager to motivate staff in achieving retail and new account production. Participate in an active sales environment that may require in-store aisle prospecting. Attend business development calls, or other sales opportunities, with a member of management. Manage branch operations and staff, in the absence of a manager. Conduct training for new hires. Provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish speaking population. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. Complete other tasks as assigned by manager as needed to include, but not limited to, opening/closing branch.Physical Requirements:Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time dependent upon branch locationOperate a computer and other office machineryAbility to lift up to 50 lbsFNBT is an equal opportunity employer.Qualifications:At least 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or equivalencyAssociate's degree in business/management or related degree preferredMinimum of one year management/supervisory experienceStrong sales skills with the ability to effectively develop business opportunitiesProven ability to establish and maintain sound relationships with existing and potential customersExcellent communication skills, leadership and organizational skillsExtensive cash handling experienceExperience working in a high volume, fast paced environmentBanking experience preferredFamiliarity with banking laws and regulations preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust successfully pass background investigation according to company policyMust be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
