Assistant Director
Full job description. New Creations Child Care is expanding and is seeking a full-time Assistant Director at our Crocus Hill location. As the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the operation and instructional leadership of the center. You will be accountable for all operational aspects of the center and will ensure that all standards are maintained and that the positive development of the children is promoted.
Providing leadership for staff and working to build a rapport with the families, children, and staff along with assisting in the classrooms when needed is critical. You will maintain adherence to our mission of bringing the best and most trusted early childhood education and childcare services to families in our community.
We are seeking individuals who are energetic, creative, organized, problem solvers, a team player, have excellent communication skills, and have a vision for the center's future.
Key Qualifications
Experienced
Highly motivated
Has experience recruiting top talent, training, and managing staff
Able to manage a budget set forth by New Creations
Able to promote the center, provide tours, and increase enrollment
Desired Skills and Experience
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
5 years of teaching experience with young children.
One year of management or leadership experience.
Strong background in state licensing regulations, staffing, enrollment, and budget management.
Possess deep love for children and a strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community.
Reliable, strong character and values; will serve as a role model and embody the servant leadership philosophy.
Provide excellent references.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
