Job Title: Accounting Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a CPA designation, strong leadership skills, and hands-on systems implementation experience to oversee accounting operations, strengthen financial processes, and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate combines technical accounting expertise with the ability to lead a team, improve workflows, and successfully implement and optimize accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely completion of deliverables.
Lead accounting system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting procedures.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and applicable financial regulations.
Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Active CPA license required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree a plus.
Proven experience managing accounting operations and leading a team.
Demonstrated experience implementing accounting or ERP systems, including process mapping, data migration, testing, and system optimization.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
