ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the‑art facility. Our Finance team keeps that growth on solid ground — with accurate books, strong controls, and reporting leadership can trust.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for an Assistant Controller to support our Controller in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and compliance. A seat at the table on high-impact transformation projects as we grow

Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with company policy and accounting standards
Help prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports that inform business decisions
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures to meet regulatory, audit, and governance standards
Oversee general accounting activities — general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reviews
Lead, develop, and support accounting team members through work review, training, coaching, and performance management
Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
Partner on high-impact transformation projects
