Assistant Director | Early Childhood Education

Are you organized, dependable, and ready to lead with confidence? The Learning Experience is seeking an Assistant Director to partner with our Center Director in leading daily operations, supporting teachers, and creating a welcoming environment for children and families.

What You'll Do

Partner with the Center Director to manage daily operations and uphold state licensing requirements and brand standards.

Confidently oversee the center in the Director's absence, using sound judgment and holding the team accountable to expectations.

Support staff scheduling, classroom ratios, and daily staffing needs.

Guide and support teachers while fostering a positive, professional team culture.

Maintain accurate student records, enrollment information, and center documentation.

Build strong relationships with families through clear, timely communication.

Conduct center tours, respond to prospective family inquiries, and support enrollment and family engagement.

Help ensure classrooms and common areas are safe, organized, and welcoming.

Coordinate center events, staff initiatives, and special projects.

Support classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and provide a safe, nurturing experience.

Carry out opening, closing, safety, and operational procedures.

What You Bring

A genuine passion for children, families, and early childhood education.

Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through.

Professional, confident communication and the ability to guide a team.

Initiative, accountability, and sound decision-making in a busy environment.

Previous childcare or early education experience, with administrative or leadership experience.

The ability to manage center operations confidently in the Director's absence.

Qualifications that meet all applicable state licensing requirements for the Assistant Director position.
