Job description
Garden Park Care Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing leadership team. This is a Monday-Friday position with participation in an on-call rotation. We are looking for a nurse who enjoys supporting staff, maintaining strong clinical standards, and helping create a positive environment for both residents and employees.
Responsibilities
Support the DON with day-to-day nursing operations
Provide leadership, guidance, and education to nursing staff
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee performance
Help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in surveys, audits, quality improvement, and clinical initiatives
Monitor resident care and documentation
Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training nursing staff
Participate in the nursing leadership on-call rotation
Requirements
Active Ohio nursing license in good standing
RN preferred
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience
Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
