Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, Missouri.
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff. Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve health care of incarcerated offenders.
Qualifications
Must hold valid RN license in Missouri. Baccalaureate Degree preferred
Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active AED/CPR certification
Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred
Experience in a correctional, forensic or criminal justice environment preferred
Available Shift
Monday-Friday, Days, 8:00am-4:30pm with on-call as needed
