Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Axiom Gardens of Flora in Flora, Illinois. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
About the Role
As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and training. You will also be responsible for implementing and evaluating nursing policies and procedures, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination. Your expertise and leadership skills will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in resident care.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and training
Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with our organization's mission and vision
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective care coordination and communication
Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Participate in budget planning and management to ensure effective use of resources
Requirements
Current Illinois Nursing license, with valid CPR certification
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality and safety
