Assistant Director of Nursing - St. Petersburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at St. Petersburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Assistant Director of Nursing is a key position that plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services to our residents.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative oversight and management to the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and-center policies
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, as well as coordinate and manage nursing care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
Collaborate with medical and non-medical staff to provide comprehensive care to residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs
Monitor and improve quality of care, patient satisfaction and staff performance, using data-driven insights to inform decisions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop and implement action plans to improve care outcomes
Serve as a liaison between the nursing department and other departments, ensuring open communication and effective collaboration
