Assistant General Manager
Job Description & Performance Expectations
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the club to ensure members and prospects receive the highest quality of service and facilities. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position.
HOURS
Monday – Thursday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Saturday or Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours can be changed and are dependent on the club's pacing to sales goals and community outreach events.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Sales, Revenue & Collections
Achieve target revenue goals through leadership and motivation of employees
Daily past due account collections and calls
Monitor flagged check-ins to increase revenue and collections
Conduct tours and telephone inquiries for prospective members
Leadership & Team Development
Train and supervise the front desk, housekeeping, and Kid's Crunch staff
Coordinate and work with other departments, including Personal Training and Group Fitness
Promote a professional and inviting environment that enhances the quality of service and care offered to members
Operations, Administration & Compliance
Compliance with our uniform policy - crunch polo, black pants or shorts & crunch nametag
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies
Assist with multiple aspects of inventory management, payroll, weekly bank deposits, shift coverage, and general club maintenance
Ensure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security
Other duties as assigned
