Assistant General ManagerThe Assistant General Manager is responsible for effectively leading Sully's Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Along with supervising portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service, including responding to guests' complaints and turning dissatisfied guests into return guests.Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.Follows up with employees on assigned tasks.Monitor training of employees during shiftDevelop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.QualificationsKnowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.Must possess a valid driver's license.Must be eligible to work in the United States.Must willing to submit to a background check.Compensation: $45,000.00 per yearLife is too short to work with jerks … So work with us at Sully's Steamers!
