Assistant General Manager | Sip & Brew - San Antonio International Airport
The Assistant General Manager supports daily kitchen and café operations by ensuring food quality, food safety, and operational excellence in a fast-paced airport environment. This role helps recruit, train, coach, and motivate team members while overseeing inventory, scheduling, cost controls, and compliance with company standards. Working closely with restaurant leadership, the AGM drives efficient operations, supports profitability goals, and ensures an exceptional experience for travelers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop team members to deliver excellent food quality and guest service.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Oversee daily operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and brand standards are met.
Monitor labor, inventory, ordering, and operating costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support operational improvements and help achieve business objectives.
Resolve operational challenges and promote guest satisfaction.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
