Description
* Assist Live Haul Manager in day-to-day management of operations.
* Train employees, ensuring Animal Welfare Policies are enforced.
* Assist in supervising live haul drivers, ensuring safe driving practices.
* Ensure team members and drivers adhere to company safety policies and practices.
* Monitor PM Program.
* Assist in training drivers, monitoring driver hours, and ensuring DOT compliance.
* Monitor and administer Drive-Cam System.
* Respond to farm catching and hauling issues and accidents.
* Other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
* High School Diploma required; Bachelor Degree in Animal or Poultry Science or other related area of study preferred.
* Excellent technology, computer, math and analytical skills.
* 3+ years supervisory experience required.
* Current CDL, or ability to obtain license within 1 year required.
Physical Requirements
* Typical office environment within a truck shop setting.
