Job Description
We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Chesterfield location on Olive Boulevard. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational efficiency, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment while driving organizational success.
Supervise and manage daily operations of the facility, ensuring all procedures and policies are followed consistently
Lead, train, and mentor team members to achieve performance goals and support their professional development
Create and manage staff schedules while optimizing labor resources and maintaining service quality
Monitor inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and facility conditions; report discrepancies and coordinate necessary repairs
Analyze operational metrics and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
Maintain open communication with team members and upper management; address concerns and resolve conflicts professionally
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local requirements
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating team member performance
Support customer or client relations by addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
Prepare reports and documentation as required by management
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail, hospitality, food service, or similar operational environment
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and support diverse teams
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making judgment
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, or other relevant operational tools
Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive operational improvements
Customer service excellence and commitment to maintaining high standards
Conflict resolution and mediation skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred: Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred: Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices
