Job Description
Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, delivering product by car, and delivering flyers and door hangers. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle for delivery, passing a background check, and having open availability. Training orientation and training provided on the job. Communication skills include the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, and train and lead. Essential functions/skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, maintain cost controls, and navigate adverse terrain. Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, fumes from food odors, and exposure to cornmeal dust. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work along and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks are also part of the job.
