Assistant Property Manager (Cantonese Fluent)Alvic Property Management is looking for a motivated, organized, and people-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team in Brooklyn. This is a hands-on role supporting the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations of residential buildings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, professional, and comfortable communicating with residents, Board members, vendors, supers, and building staff.Strong Cantonese communication skills are an essential requirement for this position. The Assistant Property Manager will regularly communicate with Chinese-speaking residents, Board members, and other building contacts. The ability to communicate clearly and professionally in Cantonese is extremely important.Support the Property Manager with daily building operationsCommunicate with residents and respond to questions and requests in a professional and timely mannerCommunicate with Cantonese-speaking residents and Board members in their preferred languageHelp coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, vendors, and building staffFollow up on open issues and make sure requests are properly resolvedAssist with resident communications, notices, inspections, and building documentationHelp maintain accurate records and track outstanding tasksCoordinate with supers, contractors, and vendors as neededAssist with move-ins, move-outs, violations, and other property management activitiesSupport the Property Manager with Board communications and meetingsHelp ensure that resident concerns and building issues are followed through to completionAssist with administrative and organizational tasks related to multiple propertiesPrevious experience in property management, real estate, office administration, or a related fieldFluent Cantonese Chinese — REQUIREDStrong English communication skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProactive approach and excellent follow-up skillsProfessional, reliable, and comfortable dealing with residents and vendorsAbility to work independently while supporting a teamNYC residential property management experience is a strong plusExperience with property management software is a plusFull-time, in-office position in BrooklynCompetitive compensation based on experienceOpportunity to grow within a growing property management companyHands-on experience across residential property management operationsProfessional and collaborative work environmentWe're looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well, stays organized, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
