A well-defined training program will be provided to help you develop your way in our management structure. This entry-level position is purposely designed to be transitory and generally lasts 6-18 months before promotion to the next level. Candidates who apply for this position should be enthusiastic, energetic, sports-minded people with solid customer service backgrounds and/or educational paths well-suited for the industry.Primary DutiesProvide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the storeAnswer phone calls and respond to customer inquiriesRecommend products and suggest add-on salesMerchandising and compliance of all company policiesSetting promotional signageChecking and retrieving merchandise from stockroom as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floorReceive merchandise shipmentAssist with store opening and closing proceduresTraining newly hired associatesDirecting sales and cashier associates throughout the storeInventory control and enforcement of loss prevention policiesEnforcement of all company policiesPerforms or may perform additional duties as assigned by management and supervisionPosition RequirementsMust be 21 years of age or olderStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMust possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skillsDetail-oriented and reliableAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of sporting goods is a plusMust possess High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency ExamFlexible SchedulingUpon accepting a position offered, candidate will be subject to E-VerifyLight to moderate lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodationBenefitsFlexible Schedule, Employee Merchandise Discount, Ticket Discounts to Top Attractions and Events, Employee Referral Program, Paid Sick Leave, Dental, Medical Insurance (*Must regularly work at least 1560 hours per year to maintain Medical, Dental eligibility), Savings and Profit-Sharing Plan – 401k/Roth IRA (*Must work at least 1000 hours per year to qualify for 401k eligibility).Pay Scale: $17.20 - $17.80 per hour
