Bring your experience with food production, merchandising, and team oversight to a role where success is measured through product quality, operational readiness, and customer satisfaction.Main responsibilities:Manage daily Meat Department operations to meet service, quality, and financial expectationsMaintain a professional, customer-focused environment and respond to customer inquiries and special ordersPlan and coordinate daily production activities including preparation, packaging, stocking, and merchandisingEnsure displays are stocked, rotated, labeled, and maintained to company standardsImplement promotional and seasonal programs as scheduledMaintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature, and regulatory requirementsReview production results and adjust activities to support yield and profitability goalsManage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, reclamation, and departmental expensesMaintain clean, safe work areas including preparation rooms, coolers, freezers, display cases, and equipmentSchedule, train, coach, and oversee associates to ensure coverage and performance expectationsComplete and maintain required documentation including logs, reports, and auditsWe are looking for candidates who possess the following:Soft skills:Clear communication and expectation-settingConsistent, objective decision-makingStrong organization and follow-throughAbility to lead teams in a structured, time-sensitive environmentCompetencies:Meat department production and merchandising executionInventory management, ordering, and shrink controlLabor planning, scheduling, and performance managementFood safety, sanitation, and compliance executionKnowledge:Meat handling, storage, rotation, and labeling standardsFood safety and temperature-control requirementsStore systems, ordering platforms, and department documentationAbilities:Ability to review sales, labor, inventory, and production dataAbility to train and direct associates across department functionsAbility to operate department tools and equipment following company guidelinesAbility to lift, move, and handle product and work in cooler and freezer environmentsTravel requirements: NoneOther requirements: Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company safety standards, food safety guidelines, grooming standards, and the Code of Business ConductWe also provide a variety of benefits including:Competitive wages paid weeklyAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
