Job description
Windham Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager to support clinical operations on an acute care unit. The role assists the Nurse Manager with daily staffing, patient flow, and care quality, ensuring adherence to evidence-based standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring nursing staff, coordinating interdisciplinary care, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and patient-centered service. The Assistant Nurse Manager also participates in staff education, evaluations, scheduling, and supports policy implementation and operational goals.
