Role Overview:
This leadership position involves overseeing patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking within a hospital setting. The role includes managing staff hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development, ensuring departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
Participate in developing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring interventions meet patients’ age and developmental needs, and document accordingly.
Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and communication; handle staffing needs, overtime, and performance reviews.
Ensure departmental operational goals are met, monitor staff productivity, and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 2+ years in leadership; preferred 5-10 years with supervisory experience.
Licenses & Certifications: RN required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Team lead or charge experience and surgical background are a plus.
