About This Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager for Patient Care in the Operating Room is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care in the transplant and general surgery units. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to take on leadership responsibilities.

What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations of the operating room.
Manage nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Assist in developing policies and procedures for the unit.
Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements.
Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff.
Participate in staff recruitment and training.
Requirements
Education: BSN required
Experience: 2+ years in acute care
Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York; BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
