Function/Duties of Position

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a BC/BE child neurologist with fellowship training or demonstrated expertise in pediatric vascular neurology to join our growing division of pediatric neurology at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the only comprehensive pediatric stroke program in Oregon and work alongside an established pediatric stroke neurologist in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Participate in acute stroke evaluation and management, collaborating with emergency medicine, neuroradiology, neurointerventional radiology, neurosurgery, hematology, cardiology, rehabilitation services, and intensive care teams. Program development involves collaborating with colleagues hospital‑wide and developing regional algorithms for acute stroke care by collaborating with pediatric neurologists at other Portland hospitals and emergency room physicians across the region. Share call responsibilities within the Division of Pediatric Neurology.

Develop subspecialty clinics and clinical programs aligned with the candidate’s interests.
