Now hiring for a Assistant Press Operator - Direct Hire

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Looking for Assistant Press Operator jobs in Cincinnati where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 6 months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn printing press operations

Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures

Job Duties

Assist lead press operators with press setup and production runs

Load paper, materials, inks, and printing supplies

Monitor print quality and report defects or production issues

Clean and maintain presses, rollers, and work areas

Support production goals by keeping materials organized and available

Follow all workplace safety and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.

Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.

Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.

Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Assistant Press Operator.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.

Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
