Senior Manufacturing Associate - Machine OperatorSenior Manufacturing Associate - Machine Operator in Liberty 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Overtime OpportunitiesWhat You'll DoLearn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring qualityWork as part of a team to hit daily production goalsInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standardsTroubleshoot minor issues and keep production movingFollow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspaceKey ResponsibilitiesSetup: Open, inspect, shaft, and web up paper rolls to correct width.Adjustments: Set nip rollers, change blades, adjust folder pins, and set web guides.Delivery: Adjust paper feed guides, stacker belt tension, and bundle lengths.Printing: Engage print units, hang blankets, and monitor water and dampening systems.Quality: Read quality plans, check plates for flaws, and match color proofs.Maintenance: Wash up the press, clean equipment, and lubricate machinery daily.Safety: Safely operate stackers, clear down time by cleaning, and follow safety protocols.QualificationsExperience: Web press experience preferred, but we will train the right person!Skills: Strong understanding of printing processes or mechanical aptitude.Problem-Solving: Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to handle practical variables.Communication: Clear communication skills to read instructions and work in teams.Physical: Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.Why Work at Sheridan?Great Work-Life Balance: Paid Holidays, plus one custom floating holiday you pick yourself!Financial Growth: 401(K) company match, referral bonuses, and overtime incentives.Health Coverage: Excellent full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, and more) eligible after 30 days.Peace of Mind: Company-paid Term Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability (STD).Career Investment: Tuition reimbursement programs to help you grow.Gear Up: Safety shoe reimbursement up to $120.Legal Disclaimers & AccommodationsEEO Statement: Sheridan is an Equal Opportunity employer.
