Assistant Production ManagerThe Assistant Production Manager is responsible for supporting the Production Operations Manager in all production operations across multiple facilities, monitoring plant safety, quality, and line efficiency.Duties And Essential Job FunctionsSupport Production Operations Manager in overseeing all production employees and temporary staffSupport Production Operations Manager in planning jobs and labor based on priority levelSupport Production Operations Manager in generating revenue and labor reports in inventory warehouse management system and make any adjustments to labor as needed to meet production goalsCommunicate to staffing agencies daily to plan labor for the following dayAbility to understand and read job specificationsCoordinate set ups and break downs of production linesSupport Production Operations Manager in monitoring plant efficiency using lean methodologiesAssign jobs to LeadsCoach and train Leads to understand production goals and labor needsSupport Production Operations Manager in ongoing training and support for Leads and other production staff in inventory warehouse management systemComply with company policies, procedures, and safety rulesMust have good English written and verbal communication skillsGood arithmetic skills are requiredGeneral proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Willingness to work a flexible schedule if necessaryAttendance is an essential function of the roleOther Functions And ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent or combination of education and experience.PreferredBachelor's DegreeBilingualSix Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications and experience
