Assistant Production Operator ($19 - $23/hr.)Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates, Assistant Machine Operators, and Forklift Operators to support operations at our Corrugated packaging facility in Spartanburg, SC.Base Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience2nd Shift Differential: +$1.00 per hour3rd Shift Differential: +$0.50 per hourYou will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered. This includes overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.Currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift onlyThe first two weeks of orientation will be conducted on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM).1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (starts Sunday night)3100 Southport Rd Spartanburg, SC 29302Our team creates value by safely assisting with the production of corrugated boxes for our valued customers.Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targetsMonitor and/or enter data into computer control systemsTroubleshoot equipment to optimize productionPerform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work areasWork as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goalsOperate and/or work around mobile equipmentMaintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing required safety equipmentPerform physical tasks including lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to twelve (12) hours per day in a loud, industrial, high-volume environmentExperience working in the corrugated packaging industry or a fast-paced manufacturing environment
