Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor Adolescent Medicine
The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a candidate for a faculty position in the Adolescent Medicine Section, Division of Population Health, Quality, and Implementation Sciences. Clinical responsibilities include both outpatient clinics and inpatient consultation. The candidate will assume responsibilities as the Director of the Adolescent Medicine Section, with the potential to grow the Adolescent Medicine enterprise in the Department of Pediatrics. Opportunities for growth include the clinical practice, including at an off-site primary care center, the development of a research enterprise, and building upon existing medical student, resident, and fellow education. The Section is responsible for the required Adolescent Medicine rotation for residents and actively participates in medical student teaching. The ideal candidate will have (or be developing) a track record in health services, translational, clinical research, and/or educational research. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited medical school and a graduate of a fellowship program in Adolescent Medicine. Board certification in Pediatrics with eligibility for or certification in Adolescent Medicine is required.
