Job Description

The Department of Economics at Miami University invitesapplications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions.Duties include teaching courses at the undergraduate and Master’slevel, publishing original high-quality research, advisingstudents, and engaging in service.

The Department of Economics, which is in the Farmer School ofBusiness, has approximately 500 undergraduate majors and 15students in its Master’s of Economics program. High qualityteaching and research are both valued in the department, which iscomposed of approximately 25 tenured/tenure-track, teaching, andvisiting faculty.

Minimum Qualifications

Required: Ph.D. in economics or related discipline by date ofappointment.

Consideration will be given to candidates with research interestsin applied microeconomics and especially health economics.
