Job description

Assistant Professor in Industrial-Organizational Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, to begin Fall 2027. The successful candidate will contribute to the program and department's teaching and mentoring needs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Area of research is open, though we are especially interested in candidates whose substantive or methodological expertise would extend the program's strengths, and an ability to collaborate with current faculty would be seen as a positive. Candidates should hold a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a related field (e.g., organizational behavior, organizational science, or management) by the start of the appointment. Competitive candidates will have an established and strong record of research commensurate with career stage with potential for external funding.
