Job description
Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate aerospace engineering courses, developing and maintaining an active and externally funded research program, engaging in department, college, university and professional services appropriate to the position, and advancing the goals and strategic plan of KSU.
Required qualifications include an earned terminal/doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in aerospace engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of hire.
Preferred qualifications include postdoctoral training, industrial experiences, a strong publication record, grant proposal experience, and prior teaching experience.
