Job description

Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Art History, with a focus on the Arts of the Americas before 1900. ABD will be considered, though Ph.D. is preferred.

The teaching load is four courses in the first year and five thereafter, with undergraduate advising responsibilities after the first year. The department values interdisciplinary collaboration with Latin America and Latine Studies and American Indian and Indigenous Studies.
