Job description
Samford University’s Howard College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of English. The 9-month faculty position begins August 2027, with review starting November 15, 2026 and applications accepted through January 15, 2027.
Qualified candidates must hold an MFA in Creative Writing and/or a PhD or ABD in English, with a publication record as a writer of fiction or nonfiction.
