Position Title : Assistant Professor of Kinesiology/Exercise Science
Department : Academic Affairs
Reports To : Vice President for Academic Affairs
Job Summary

Broad responsibilities include teaching, research, and service to the community. Demonstrate instructional proficiency teaching in various modalities (in-person, virtual, or online).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching a broad range of kinesiology courses, including athletic training, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics of human movement, physical therapy, motor control principles and theory, and exercise physiology.
Advise and mentor undergraduate Kinesiology majors and minors.
Engage in and maintain active scholarly research activities.
Serve on departmental and university committees and engage in other forms of service to the university and academic community.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Physical Education.
Candidates with ABDs considered but must have a conferred Ph.D. by December 31, 2024.
Minimum Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with Prior Teaching Experience.
