Job description
Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Music in the Department of Music. The position will begin July 1, 2027.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in music history and culture and may develop new courses addressing Black musical thought, history, and practice. Opportunities exist for interdisciplinary work with African American and African Studies.
