Assistant Professor - Pharmaceutics
Chicago State University School of Pharmacy invites applications for a tenure-track, academic-year faculty position in Pharmaceutics. Qualified applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutics or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have a pharmacy background, but it is not required. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include teaching, establishing a funded research program, and participation in the service mission of the school. The successful applicant will serve as part of a multidisciplinary team with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a school of pharmacy.
Applicants should submit a statement of teaching philosophy, research plans, curriculum vitae, and contact information for three references.
Required Education: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics or a closely related discipline
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in teaching sterile and non-sterile dosage forms.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have a pharmacy background and previous experience in pharmacy education.
