Job Posting:JR Assistant Professor - School of Social Work (Open)Department:Social Work Program, PMPosition Type:RegularOpen Date: Close Date:$72,000 to $76,000Job Description:Job SummaryWe seek a colleague who would bring established competency in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level and is interested in collaboration with university colleagues on curriculum development, scholarship, and civic and community engagement. Teaching responsibilities for this full-time, tenure-track position include graduate and undergraduate courses in hybrid/in-person format. This position will advise students, engage in scholarly work, and provide service to the School and the University.A January start is preferred, with an August start possible.Authority and AccountabilityThis position reports to the Director of the School of Social Work.Required/Minimum QualificationsMSW degree from a CSWE-accredited social work program (or international equivalent)Two or more years post-MSW social work practice experienceDoctoral degree in Social Work or a related field prior to start datePreferred QualificationsTeaching experienceExperience in curriculum developmentScholarly interest in rural healthcare, behavioral health, and/or research methodsTo be considered an applicant, you must apply online and submit the following: 1.
