Assistant Quality TechnicianThese positions will sit on-site at our factory in Mechanicsburg, PA. Two positions available:2nd shift: Sat & Sun 12pm -12am, Mon & Tues 4pm-12am (this position will end 4/24/27)3rd shift: Sat & Sun 12am -12pm, Thur & Fri 12am -8am (this position will end 12/26/26)Please state at top of resume which position is preferred.Position SummaryAs an Assistant Quality Technician, you will be responsible for assisting Quality Technicians with finished product and ingredient testing. You will regularly interact with Production, Maintenance, and Product Safety. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and gain experience in multiple areas across QA to strengthen your skillset. Quality and safety are the promises we make on every bag, container, tub, and can and we continue to deliver on that promise.Job DutiesAssist with analyzing of finished product using various test methods, including wet chemistry.Perform sensory evaluations of in-process and finished product.Review food safety, regulatory, and quality test results prior to releasing finished goods for shipment.Assist with Microbiological sampling, sample preparation and testing, as needed.Maintain high sanitation levels in the QA lab.Assist with sampling and testing of incoming ingredients that include, but are not limited to physical testing and testing rail cars, trucks, bins, sacks, and totes.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ years of experience in quality, food manufacturing, lab or related environment preferred.PPE: must bring own Steel Toes, rest of PPE provided.About us: At our organization, we take our mission and values to heart!
