Assistant Rehab Director PT or OT
The Villa at Stamford - is looking to hire for the Assistant Rehab Director PT or OT position. Our Therapy Department is dedicated to providing customized care options for our residents and collaborate to create these programs and best practices with the intention of exceeding industry standards.
Responsibilities for an Assistant Rehab Director PT or OT
Lead, orient and mentor all therapy staff; excited about the opportunity to 'build a rehab department' with the very best
Review all relevant data and utilize clinical judgement to ensure appropriate delivery of therapy care to maximize outcomes and meet desired goals at discharge
Plan accordingly to schedule staff based on clinical needs and coordinate treatment activity of staff members
Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and understands the role of rehabilitation for all therapy disciplines
Ensure accuracy, timeliness and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits
Prompt preparation and delivery of any regular or ad hoc reports
Projects a positive and professional image at all times
Reports to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum efficiency
Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancement as indicated
Adheres to established confidentiality standards
Engage in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, performance appraisals
Work pro-actively to manage and build PRN pool, contact and schedule as need
Participate in facility and company meetings
Ability to analyzes interpret and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis
Assure staff all understand and are compliant with the Federal, State and Local laws, rules and regulations related to therapy service delivery
Provide a safe environment to utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner complying with all infection control, universal precautions and standards for the healthcare professional
Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members
Seeking experienced Assistant Rehab Director PT or OT outgoing and organized self-starter ready to learn, motivate, teach and bring valued experience to the table day one!
