Assistant Spa Manager – Spa/Wellness Experience Required
We are seeking a warm, organized, and motivated Assistant Spa Manager to support the daily operations of our spa. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, creating a positive guest experience, and helping maintain a supportive, professional environment.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in a spa, med spa, salon, wellness, fitness, or membership-based environment and is comfortable supporting both operational and guest experience goals. We are looking for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, solutions-focused, and excited to grow within the wellness industry.
Assistant Spa Manager Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
Oversee scheduling, payroll, and employee orientation for new hires.
Handle recruiting and interviewing processes to build a strong team.
Maintain inventory control and manage purchasing to ensure adequate supplies are available.
Implement effective marketing strategies to promote spa services and increase sales.
Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness standards.
Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve profitability goals.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns or feedback promptly.
Assistant Spa Manager Qualifications
Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within the spa or wellness industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques.
Experience in training & development, employee orientation, and performance evaluation.
Knowledge of inventory management practices and bookkeeping principles.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS systems.
Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities with a focus on team management and motivation.
