Role Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Outstanding customer service skills and training with a positive and professional demeanor.
3-5 years of retail experience, hardware retail setting preferred although not required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Demonstrated, proven track record with leading people, either formally or informally.
Proficient knowledge of retail point of sale and inventory management systems and processes.
Current knowledge of hardware retail products and departments with the ability to lead product knowledge training for both new and on-going training for current team members.
Highly-organized, self starter with attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Always polite and attentive to customers and team members.
Possess a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills when working with team members and customers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with customers and team members.
Provide and accept opportunities for ongoing training and professional development (i.e. new and ongoing team member training and development, individual development, promotional training, etc.)
Technically skilled in basic computer knowledge, software, and social media engagement (i.e. Word, Excel, POS System, Email, Facebook, Google, Yelp, etc.).
Job Requirements (Including but not limited to)*:
Ability to lift and move items weighing 50-80 lbs.. Pulling palletized product up to 1000 lbs.
Tasks which may exert moderate effort which may include, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Load/Unload trucks with product, merchandise, or equipment.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Criminal Background Check and Drug Test will be required for employment.
