Assistant Manager
Location: Cascade, Iowa
Salary: $40K+/Year, Direct Hire
Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts, including weekends.
Job Summary:
The assistant manager will support the store manager in overseeing daily retail operations including customer service, staff supervision, inventory management, and operational efficiency. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The selected candidate will be hired directly by the company and be eligible for their benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the store manager with supervising daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient store performance.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure all team members uphold company standards.
Support training and coaching of team members, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated.
Help with scheduling staff to meet business needs, including day/night rotations and weekend coverage.
Maintain inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation practices.
Contribute to achieving store sales and performance goals through strong customer engagement.
Travel to other locations may be required at times.
Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Retail and/or customer service experience required.
Previous management or supervisory experience preferred but not required.
Must be willing to learn, trainable, and motivated to grow into a leadership role.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Comfortable working varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
