The Assistant Store Manager supports the overall operation of a well-organized, customer-focused store, assisting with supervision, merchandise management, and store functions to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the overall operation of a well-organized, customer-focused store, assisting with supervision, merchandise management, and store functions to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting customers, and operating the cash register.
Assist with opening and closing the store, and support scheduling, training, and safety meetings for staff.
Manage merchandise processes including receiving, stocking, restocking, rotating, and creating displays according to planograms and store standards.
Maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash control procedures, and secure deposits.
Support store management in the absence of the Store Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong customer service skills and leadership qualities.
Experience in merchandise management and store operations.
Attention to detail in inventory and cash handling procedures.
Ability to train staff and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
