Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the store team to deliver elevated luxury service while driving sales and operational excellence. This role focuses on coaching the team, managing daily store operations, and executing strategies to grow client relationships and business performance. The assistant helps ensure brand standards across presentation, inventory, and loss prevention.
Responsibilities
Support achievement of individual and store sales targets and communicate KPI results with context.
Review and manage store schedules, payroll, and expense controls.
Recruit, train, develop, and manage store associates, providing coaching and performance feedback.
Oversee daily operations including inventory management, cash handling, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
Deliver personalized high-touch service and implement CRM strategies to build client loyalty.
Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation to uphold luxury brand standards.
Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and assist with marketing and promotional execution.
Requirements
5+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role within luxury retail.
Strong understanding of luxury clientele, clienteling techniques, and high-touch service.
Proven ability to drive sales and meet or exceed targets with financial management experience.
Proficiency with CRM systems, retail POS software, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts; strong coaching and training orientation.
